Solidity versus Stability; what is safer during these changing times?

Solidity versus Stability; what is safer during these changing times? ©2018 Joan M. Newcomb, CPC

We're going through a pretty chaotic time. Monumental changes are happening, faster than ever before. We're needing to adjust at lightening speed.

It's daunting and disorienting. How do we feel safe during all this expansion? How do we maintain our equilibrium?

The old or traditional ways of doing this aren't working any more. In the past, it would be creating or seeking some kind of anchor. That anchor may be in the form of a reliable job, an established belief system such as a religion, or even a persona, like being a "a solid citizen".

However, solidity is no longer an effective way to to respond to growth. The vibrational frequency of this Consciousness Shift is so high (and increasing exponentially) that trying to anchor into density is about as safe as staying inside a brick building during an earthquake.

Wait, I can hear all your analytical minds buzzing - doesn't stability equate with solidity? Isn't it the same thing? Are you stronger when you're solid?

Not necessarily. When you're in the amount of expansion we're experiencing, you need sea legs under you. Trying to stay immovably firm during these energy fluctuations, you'll topple over.

What's already happening is, any antiquated concept or tightly held belief within you is disintegrated, like mortar between bricks. Heck, for some people, even the bricks are turning to dust. Or maybe just their brick façades.

What creates stability instead? Think of it like trying to stay upright on a boat in the ocean, or even on a surf board (during some growth periods). Your focus goes inwards, to your core. Your feet may flat on the floor, yet your stance is flexible.

It's a different way of anchoring, going within, than going down into the planet. It may not seem very stable at first. In fact, it seems the opposite. Yet I've found in this new Consciousness, everything is often the opposite of what we were originally taught.

Reality is under renovation right now, it isn't the most secure anchor point. When you anchor within yourself, you're accessing your greater aspect of Consciousness. It's going deeper into the essence of who you really are, rather than the illusion of what is.

We don't need the old forms of grounding or protection. Protection is often a form of resistance anyway, and resistance magnetically attracts what you don't want. Consciousness is more powerful than anything. There's no need for protections in this new world.

When you connect inward to Consciousness, you innately know it's a benevolent Universe. You innately know that all is very, very well.

Who's Driving The Car?

Who's Driving The Car? ©2015 Joan M. Newcomb

We all have subpersonalities, and it doesn't mean you're schitzophrenic! What it means is that you have access to all different aspects of yourself, and this can be quite useful when you're conscious of it.

It's when we're unconscious that they can cause problems.

The most obvious subpersonalities are our inner kids. It's as if each age we've ever been is frozen in time within us. At any moment our two year old can come out and disrupt the Monday morning staff meetings (especially if you skipped breakfast to be there)!

We also have subpersonalities for each role we've ever been.  When I had a wedding business, it was useful to call upon my minister-officient subpersonality as I was driving to a rehearsal or ceremony; it stepped me into a professional mindset regardless of what else was going on in my life.

If you have a particular part to play in your life and you don't feel you know how to do it, it may be that the "wrong" (=inappropriate) personality is in your driver's seat. When that personality slides over and lets the "right" (=appropriate) one drive, you'll find you have access to the information you need.

Sometimes You need to put the wayward personality in the car seat behind you.

Not all our recalcitrant personalities are kids, however. Sometimes we have bossy adults gripping the wheel when we really need to let our artist out to wander. Bossy adults can be useful when it's time to stop procrastinating and work on the report that's due, but on weekends you need to lock them in the office.

We have an infinite number of personalities available to us, even ones we don't feel like we've accessed before.  We may not be as practiced with them, but they are there to be called forth. Perhaps you're in love with 'the One' and your longest relationship was three months. Or your family background was so dysfunctional you have no clue how to make this one work.  Take a deep breath, let all those concerns go, and allow the personality that does know how to make love last come up from deep within you.

You may feel a little wobbly and uncertain doing this at first, but trust that you have a wellspring of wisdom that you can tap into at any time.  You have an inner Parent subpersonality that can take the wheel whenever you need.

Your inner kids all really want that subpersonality to drive because they can't (or shouldn't).  They calm down when it's in the driver's seat.

Play with this for the next seven days. Call in the subpersonalities that you need whenever you need them. And see what happens!

How To Handle The Ever Increasing Pace of Expansion

How To Handle The Ever Increasing Pace of Expansion ©2015 Joan M. Newcomb, CPC

Things are getting faster. Time seems to be speeding up. It's noticeable in our everyday lives - we have never ending streams of information bombarding us from social media 24/7, but we can also communicate with each other instantaneously, and get places quicker, than we ever have before.

It used to be that a second was the fastest measurement of time. Now it seems broken into nanoseconds. What is going on?

As we progress as Consciousness into form, our vibration increases. We *are* the higher vibration of Consciousness, and as we come more into our bodies, we experience it as expansion.

When I read energy, the past vibrates more slowly and the future vibrates at a higher rate. The past is denser, the future more diffuse.

When We are focused in the present moment, We are aligned in our bodies and able to effortlessly move with them on their perceived journey from the past to the future.

If we focus elsewhere - either to the future (daydreams) or the past (memories) we'll be disconnected from what's going on now.  It's like trying to drive your car while staring at the GPS or in the rear-view mirror.

When We as Consciousness are anchored and centered in our bodies, our energy flows more smoothly.  If we aren't, we'll accumulate pain, and look for distractions to get away from the pain, which disconnects us even more. It's like expecting your car to drive when you're not in it.

Really, our bodies want *Us*, Consciousness, to be driving. Our bodies experience resistance when they feel they're abandoned, or being made to do something against their will. They may create illness to get our attention.

If you are feeling rushed, if you're feeling stressed, if you feel like you're on a treadmill never getting anywhere - that's your body experiencing time and space without You in it.

You may think you don't want to take the time to anchor in the body, but when you do, time expands. You get more done when you're focused in the present moment.

The experience of Consciousness in form, You in your body, is effortlessness, non-resistance, centered but not weighed down, gliding through time like a kayaker on a river of energy.

Here are some instantaneous ways to connect in your body:
Use your lower abdomen as a reference area, allow a piece of your Consciousness to be there (I see Me as a dot of light). Notice what that's like.
Use your inner heart as another reference area, allow a piece of your Consciousness to be there (a centering point)
Your pineal gland - in the center of your head, between your ears, behind your eyes, allow a piece of your Consciousness to be there (another centering point)
And your solar plexus - inner stomach area, allow a piece of your Consciousness to be there (you can be centered in all these areas at once).

This allows you as Consciousness to lightly occupy the body and navigate with it through your life.

Play with this.  See what happens!
