The Transformation Game

The Transformation Game ©2014 Joan M. Newcomb

Today I facilitated The Transformation Game™  as a workshop.  I was trained by the women who invented the Game, seventeen years ago.  It was good to reconnect with the Deva of Transformation, and the Angels and qualities of the game.

Life itself is a game of transformation, which we all take too seriously at times.  When you are too serious about Life, you can become rigid, unbending, limited in your thinking.  You miss inspiration, opportunity, and different possibilities available to you.

A tool I use to navigate is to ask if it's limiting, or opening, judgemental or neutral (or amused).  Is it fearful, or enthusiastic?  Is it resentful or forgiving?

Anything contracted is a body/personality level distortion.  It's bottom of the fish tank thinking.  It's fighting with the scenery (to mix metaphors).  Anything expansive is from Consciousness.  It's outside the hologram, it's from your Highest Essence.

Life is an interactive game, although you have your own playing path.  You have your path, others have their paths, yet there's opportunity to share blessings, to help each other out, to co-create miracles.  If you try to play the game by yourself, unreceptive to help, you won't get very far.

Playing by yourself is like living in a house with no mirrors.  If you get depressed or in too much pain, you lose your Awareness, and can't move forward.

You can benefit from other's experience and wisdom, as much (or even more) than they benefit from yours.

Yes, ultimately we're all One, we are all Consciousness, this reality is an illusion, but when you're in this reality, other people are real.  Their vibration is different.  You can track their energy and emotion from 6,000 miles away.  On the physical level,  they have different personalities, reactions, and motives.

When you can trust in your Inner Being, in your own Consciousness, you can allow others to help you move forward.  You'll gain insights you'd never normally uncover.

You are bigger than your setbacks.  Life deals low blows, but as Consciousness you are greater than any obstacle you may encounter.  You can deal with the pain of setbacks by using your Awareness.  Awareness shines light and makes the darkness disappear.

Be open to your intuition, and act on it.  Life may give you intuitive hits whether to go forward or not, and the Universe will definitely give you feedback if you're open to it.

Be flexible, make room for miracles, be willing to shift gears and even reverse if necessary.

Whatever phase of life you move through, allow for completion.  Reflect on your learning, release what's no longer useful, give thanks and go forward.

And, know you are not alone.  Unseen help is at your fingertips or on the edge of your mind.    Miracles are available when you least expect it.  Be open and receptive and you'll be amazed what transforms!

This week, play life as a Game of Transformation.  Everyone around you are equal players (whether they acknowledge it or not).  Approach everything as a potential insight or setback.  Use greater awareness to navigate.

Connect and communicate to the Deva (Angel) of Transformation every day.  You'll be amazed what changes in one week!

Out with the old, in with the new!

(c) 2009 Joan M. Newcomb

Today's a powerful day (in the illusion of things).  It's December 31st, the last day of the year.  It's also a Full Moon.  It's the 2nd Full Moon of the month, so a 'blue moon'.  And it's also a lunar eclipse! (If you're in Johannesburg or New Delhi, you're enjoying the view at the time I'm typing this).

I'm enjoying believing in astrology, so what I've picked up about Full Moon eclipses is that they pack the punch of 3x a regular Full Moon (and come only twice a year).  It indicates something in your life is coming to fullness or culmination.  Sometimes surprising or sudden changes happen on an eclipse.  Sometimes they happen a month to the date after (or before) the eclipse.  And they have a reverberative effect for the next 6 months.

Two weeks from now they'll be another eclipse, a New Moon solar one, that will indicate new beginnings.  So it's all good!

If you'd like to know more, I have some favorite websites where I get my information:
Susan Miller's Astrologyzone: http://astrologyzone.com which gives monthly predictions ("be sure to read your rising sign, too")
Astrodienst, from Zurich: http://astro.com which gives you detailed information based on your birth data.
The Cosmic Path, http://www.thecosmicpath.com/ which gives weekly & monthly predictions.

(That is, if you choose to believe in such things. You can decide on the Universe you choose to exist in; you could be in a parallel Universe where such things don't exist!)

Regardless, it's a good time to consider letting go of the past and moving forward into new creations.

Something I normally do at New Years is play the Transformation Game http://innerlinks.com either solo or, now that I'm married, with my husband.  It's a great way to focus for the coming year!

Energetically, it's important to release the past in order to have the space for new creations to happen.  Physically it's helpful, too.  There was this elderly woman who lives in a 4 bedroom house but never threw anything away.  She had a path from the back door to the kitchen, bathroom and her bedroom, but everything else was piled high with stuff of the past 50 years!  Your energetic space can look like that, too, if you don't cleanse and let go.

I'm not going to go into decluttering your  home, there are many other resources for that (http://flylady.com is a favorite of mine). There are lots of ways to energetically clear your space as well.

Ho'Oponopono http://www.hooponoponohelp.com/ is a pretty effective way to cleanse not only your inner space but patterns in the morphic field as well.

Robert Scheinfeld's Busting Loose model http://bustingloosefromthemoneygame.com does the same thing, different words, different language, ultimately clears your morphic field.

Releasing the old isn't like erasing memories, it's more putting them in the proper place (in the back of your aura).  It's de-energizing the emotion from those experiences so you're not wading around mired in past resentments, viewing the world through ancient "photographic slides" of your life.  What's great about the above two techniques is that you don't have to consciously know what you're clearing (it helps not to intellectualize).

Another simple technique is grounding, or what William Bloom calls "earthing".  Imagine an energy connection going from your lower abdomin (first/root chakra) to the center of the Earth.  Imagine it like one of those trash chutes chutes in old buildings that used to go down to the incinerator.   You can release imaginary trash bags filled with whatever you'd like to dump, down to the Earth's molten core.  Whatever you've release gets instantly transformed and recycled into beneficial energy for the planet.

You are 'lightening' your vibratory space, expanding and raising your awareness, and allowing in new and wonderful creations.  This is often the missing piece of the Law of Attraction, being energetically receptive to what you're attracting.

What happens when you do any (or all) of the techniques over time is that your life transforms.  In fun and magical ways.  Don't just do it on New Years, do it every day and any time it occurs to you (or you feel motivated to).  You can let go of the past and welcome new creations, regardless of the phase of the moon!!

So, try these (or make up your own) every day for the next week and see what happens.  And email me the results!  joan@joannewcomb.com
