There's a lot going on in the world today, and a lot going on in everyone's individual lives. Every day I talk with people, friends, clients, readers of this blog, facing really hard things. You're unemployed, with no job possibilities in sight. You're having marital problems, communication conflicts. You're having health challenges. The future is scary and uncertain.
Just as you have one thing handled, got one situation stabilized, the Universe goes "but wait! There's MORE!" and piles on something else.
The quote "the Universe doesn't give you anything you can't handle" is only partially true. As Essence, you can handle anything. As Essence you are greater than your body, your personality, and anything in your story line. "If you have a problem, within you there is a solution," is mostly true. As Essence you are part of the Cosmic Internet, endlessly resourceful, with access to all the information in the Universe.
As Essence Your energy is infinite. You're in the Flow, an energizer bunny, You can keep going and going!
You, as your body/personality can only handle so much at once. (Which is why it seems the Universe doles it out a portion at a time). Your body/personality needs help. (Which is why it seems the Universe speaks through the mouths of others, or shows up in the form of friends and good Samaritans).
"On the 7th day He rested" is a metaphor for manifesting through the physical. Your body needs rest, your personality needs a break.
Don't beat yourself up if you're not handling everything perfectly. Allow yourself ten mistakes a day. Give yourself quiet time. A half-hour of meditation in the morning often saves thirty minutes of frustration later on! Allow people to help you. It's okay to avoid people who don't!
You don't have to manage everything right at this moment or at once. Take things in baby steps, doing one thing at a time. Wait until the next day to make a decision or respond to someone.
Let the Truth reveal itself. Allow the answer to become clear.
Be gentle with yourself. It's a hard holiday time for everyone. Give yourself some comfort and joy.
